School of Law
Building a well-governed Congo
The School of Law of the Congo Protestant University opened in 1994 and organizes its teaching through three departments, the Department of Economic and Social Law, the Department of Privite and Judicial Law, and the Department of Public Law.
The course curriculum as organized in the School of Law outlines the fundamental principles and the philosophy of law, as well as the way it has been interpreted and applied in the DRC. The courses permit students to master the methods of analysis which are indispensable for anyone who wishes to edit law texts, practice law, furnish judicial advice, or plead a case before a tribunal.
The cycle of Graduate in Law which covers three years of study, is a common trunk for all the teaching offered by the school. The “Licence” which goes over two years, offers specialized instruction.
